All inclusive holiday was woefully poor- complaints route?

  • £60 a night isn't that cheap for Egypt off season. I have paid less than that before and got a considerably better experience. Irrespective of thaf, the services should have been available.

The hotel was one of 5 in the complex, with shared facilities. The waterpark was 5 nins walk one way, the beach another way, and the gym another. There was nothing to suggest the gym was closed, , it was still marked in the map we got when we arrived.

To summarise, would the best route be through section 75 or ATOL, and has anyone else gone through either process?

Try the credit card route then ATOL.
  • Thankfully the OP has updated which means you don't have to guess that I could have meant months ago or perhaps longer. As it is, I didn't know and neither did you.

DoaM may not have known for sure but as if often the case on these forums, when relevant information is missing then people have to take an eductated guess which is what was done.
Not too many people would wait months to start asking questions about a poor quality holiday and in this instance, the educated guess made was totally correct.
  • Loveholidays are great to deal with when booking, but try to get a complaint through them and you'll see a completely different side.

Hey Andrew, might also be worth writing to one of the consumer champions (at the Telegraph or Guardian?)
