Ohh yes of course. No one has been ripped off in UK! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You might want to read up on the differences in buyer protection between UK sales and non UK sales- in the UK the buyer would have had the right to a return for a longer period and seller could not place restrictions or obstacles on that legal requirement. Buyer would also only have had to post within the UK and not to some address overseas which is going to cost a fortune.
There is also, of course the issue of sizing which is a known and well documented problem especially with clothing made in the Far East.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just quick update but with a little perseverance the company have accepted the return and refunded the cost of the dress.
And to Mattyprice4004 - my comment about having longer to return items was in regards to the cooling off period I believe consumers are entitled to (14 days I believe?) but thanks for the useful advice.0 -

Afternoon,
I'm looking for some advice regarding exchanging a dress bought online.
I ordered a bridesmaid dress from JJ'sHouse online (standard size not made -to- measure) unfortunately it didn't fit and will need to go a size up.
However when I contacted them regarding exchanging it for a bigger size I was told as I'm outwith their 7 days return period I 'm not entitled to refund or able to exchange the dress.
I've contacted them several times to explain I'm looking for an exchange not a refund and intended to buy another dress for my second bridesmaid but they still come back with the same response.
I tried reading through the consumer rights act 2015 however it doesn't seem to mention anything like this.
Surely I'm entitled to more time if I change my mind??Just quick update but with a little perseverance the company have accepted the return and refunded the cost of the dress.
Why did they change their mind?If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
They gave me the option to either keep the dress and get a partial refund or return the dress and get a full refund...so I went for the full refund.0
