Advice on Exchange but outwith their 7 Day's Policy

Afternoon,
I'm looking for some advice regarding exchanging a dress bought online.
I ordered a bridesmaid dress from JJ'sHouse online (standard size not made -to- measure) unfortunately it didn't fit and will need to go a size up.
However when I contacted them regarding exchanging it for a bigger size I was told as I'm outwith their 7 days return period I 'm not entitled to refund or able to exchange the dress.
I've contacted them several times to explain I'm looking for an exchange not a refund and intended to buy another dress for my second bridesmaid but they still come back with the same response.
I tried reading through the consumer rights act 2015 however it doesn't seem to mention anything like this.
Surely I'm entitled to more time if I change my mind??

NO but you are entitled to return if bought online within 14 days if the dress is unused .

As JJ House appear to be a Hong Kong based company, the Consumer act 2015 doesn't apply.
It would be whatever Hong Kong consumer law stipulates about change of mind returns that would cover it.If you reside in a country within the European Union, these terms are an agreement between you and READMOB TECHNOLOGIES (HK) LIMITED. Under this agreement, goods and/or services will be delivered via READMOB TECHNOLOGIES (HK) LIMITED as an agent of READMOB TECHNOLOGIES (HK) LIMITED, or by READMOB TECHNOLOGIES (HK) LIMITED, depending on the type of payment method used for the purchase of the goods and/or services. If you reside in any other country these terms are an agreement between you and READMOB TECHNOLOGIES (HK) LIMITED, and goods and/or services will be delivered by READMOB TECHNOLOGIES (HK) LIMITED directly.0 -
There's an awful lot of these Far East shops selling online now, they have a style that is quite easily spotted and do not comply with the regulations that Is expected from a U.K. Shop. OP even if you do want to send this back it is probably going to be costly if they want it returned to HK fully tracked and insured.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Probably yes as you can't use UK consumer laws to force them to do anything.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yet another consumer rights thread from someone stung buying from overseas.
Stop buying stuff from halfway round the world to save a few quid. It's a false economy.0 -
