You seem to think you are dealing with a company like John Lewis.Dontbelievethehype wrote: »With Respect, Recorded/signed for delivery is the best way. I send many parcels per week and have never had one refused. Where as with a cert of postage you have no actual proof it has been delivered just posted. This way there is a record.
These are not respectable companies.
As has already been said, if the intended recipient refuses to sign, then all you have is confirmation of non-delivery. How does it help if the package is returned to sender? That is just further confirmation that the intended recipient has not received it.
With respect, an item posted First Class is deemed delivered two working days later - Interpretation Act 1978 Section 7.
Just get a free Certificate of Posting at the Post Office counter so that you can prove when it was posted.0 -
We never tell people to use Recorded or signed for delivery to a parking firm. But all will be well if your tracking shows they HAVE signed...
Just checking, have you filed & served your costs schedule too, like this example:

Do it at least a week in advance. If you produce it on the day they will claim it's an ambush.0 -
