  • Emailed both asking for copies of correspondence to new address. I guess I just wait and see what they send out?

Send a Data Rectification Notice to the DPO of the PPC involved advising them of your address for service and requiring them to ERASE your old data. You can normally find the DPO on the privacy page of the PPC's web page, although some do hide it away quite well.

To stop OPS filing a claim secretly to an old address and getting a CCJ you know nothing about until it causes you credit issues later.

Are you in Brighton or Worthing?

If so, you can send me a pm and I can help you in court and so can ParkingMad, we are the Brighton ladies on this forum and we go to court to see off the likes of OPS for people, for free.

OPS will sue you but they lose cases in court in Sussex all the time! They only seem to win when defendants are silly enough not to turn up, or file an awful defence.

  • It occurred in Haywards heath. They've forwarded me the letter they sent in Feb (letter before claim) and one that looks like it should have been sent to house but they say they just emailed it to me. They declined my appeal stating that collecting an ill child from the flat up two flights of stairs isn't a good reason to park where I did. The place has poor signage and upon quickly looking I didn't see was relevant to where I'd parked (on back of two shops either side but not on this one). When they know that the rest is red lines and can't be parked on either it makes collecting a child that can't walk far impossible. Not sure what to do as this letter was sent and I didn't receive it, they're saying it's not their problem....
  • I've heard back from them since I contacted as per recommendations above. I've been sent details of all correspondence they say they've sent
it comprises of one letter from the parking company (apparently) in Feb and one by Gladstone in October which is final before claim. This morning I received a new letter to my new address I gave them last week saying that they're sending me a second copy after THEY did a trace and found I had a new address.
I'm only allowed to pay the inflated fine of £100 and the £60 administration charges. No offer of paying the reduced price due to non receivel of my appeal being refused.....

But you won't be paying anything, never mind a silly 'reduced price'.

I got your email, so please send me the letters and photos and PCN as scans.

  • Help! Emailed their solicitors as the number only gave options to pay full amount. Asked for details they hold and time to review them once recieved and they just ignored and sent me court papers! Fuming. Advice please on where I stand going forward
  • Court papers recieved

my car was parked briefly outside my boyfriend's flat as his kid was ill and he needed my car to get her to hospital/ walk in if it got worse. There were signs outside the back of other shops and in some lay-bys saying no parking but not on the land behind this one. It was early sunday morning and the shop wasn't open. It was only there briefly and i got a ticket. I appealed and heard nothing back. I just received a text from gladstone solicitors this morning saying
    due: £160.00
you have not responded to our pre-action letter. Please visit !!!!!!/gsl-pay or call 01565 755088 to avoid court action. Quote ref: 103030.4300
i've researched and it seems to be about the ticket i got.
I called to find out more and even though it says option 2 to speak to someone it goes no where just back to option to pay. It says go online to request info but all links say waiting to be completed.... Only option they're giving send to be the one to pay.
    Advice and help appreciated
    thanks in advance
