Received another letter from QDR on 20th November, similar to last, but saying payment is now long overdue. "If debt is not is not repaid in full within 14 days of the date of this letter, our Client may consider County Court Proceedings against you. If such a step is necessary, we ask the Court to order that you pay our Client's legal costs. These are likely to be more than the balance of the Debt."
Then goes on to explain if a CCJ is obtained and do not pay it, they may commence enforcement action (employer to deduct money or bailiffs).

My wife is getting very anxious about this. She has a friend who received a CCJ and effected her ability to get a mortgage. She has colleagues as well that have continued to receive letters after ignoring, and the sum has risen sharply.

Is there anyone who has been in the same situation as me, has received a CCJ or continued to ignore?

QDR are acting as debt collectors, not solicitors. Ignore debt collectors, they have absolutely no power whatsoever. I am sure that someone has mentioned this before, are you not paying attention?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Hi there,
I’m interested in your thread & how it’s all developed. I am in a very similar situation to yourself with respect to a ticket issued by Sabre for parking in a restricted area in a station car park. I was so Angry that I’d already decided and was prepared to go all the way with this injustice.
I waited for a letter to come through my door and waited and waited. Opened a letter on Saturday from ZZPS??? Threatening too!
I wasn’t going to pay up to Sabre anyway so not that bothered that I didn’t get their letter but now have this awful letter from ZZPS.
Just interested in how your situation has developed (or not developed) as your thread is very recent.
Look forward to hearing from you.

ZZPS are only sewer living vermin ........ IGNORE THEM
  • Hi, yes I agree & have been reading a lot of the threads related to this. My wife thinks I should just contact Sabre about not receiving their letter but I don’t think it’ll matter as it’s out of their hands now as Sabre have already passed it onto ZZPS.

HI Borderfan. I don't mind you sharing this post with me - nice to have someone on the same situation and roughly same timescale. I have not heard anything since the last letter I wrote about on Nov 20th (which did say another 14 days to pay debt or may consider County Court Proceedings.). Now Jan 9th.
No news is good new I believe!
  • Evening dyfan, good to hear your news.
I wrote a couple letters to Saba and also complained to BPA with photo evidence of the bad signage.
Saba recently wrote to me replying to my last letter where I stated stuff like them layering a contract over the Byelaws and saying this was a bribery to pay etc. Also told them I was going to complain to DVLA regarding breaching DPA.
They informed me that they’d closed the case.
    So a result for me.

Just to inform you all, I have not received a letter since 20th November 2019. Seems ignoring is the best way forward!
