Can employer enforce this, out of town retail car park told not allowed to park there whilst at work

    That would be interesting if an employer passed personal data (VRN) to a scammer when the vehicle was being driven by someone other than an employee.

    Ask the manager to send the instruction not to park there by mail so you have proof of what was said for whatever happens

    I would start with the local planning department to see if there are or indeed are not restrictions about the use of the car park, including time limits.

    If it is restricted to customers only then that is one thing, but if is for "users" then that can be interpreted in a completely different way. Someone working there would still be using the car park for a legitimate purpose.

    You would also need to see the contract that the leaseholder (shop) has with the freeholder.
