What is the best currency to take to Hurghada? One friend says Sterling, one says Euros, most websites say you get best value there with Egyptian pounds. Which should I take? Any advice welcome!

    Take a Clarity card or similar and draw money when you arrive.

    Some resorts and cruises may prefer payment in roubles or dollars, in which case they should have told you.

    personally I would take pound sterling , I work in FX and we don't supply EGP anymore but advise taking GBP , its all set up out there for it
