ROFLMAO. What do you think it's going to do with it then?

    Muppet.

I think you need to look a the specification of the TV in the OP's link. It quite clearly states "Vertical Resolution in Pixel: 768". So how can a 768 display 1080? It can receive a 1080 signal but it will only display it in 768.

Ease up on the insults as well eh?

erm it'll display it in 720p not 1080p muppet - learn what you're talking about before trying to correct others.

how can a tv with a resoloution of 1366 x 768 show a picture that is 1920x1080? ooh by downscaling and therefore it isn't displaying 1080p - do I need to dumb it down for you any more?
  • Thanks for the replies. I've really got no idea about this kind of tv, I wanted to get one to surprise my husband for our Christmas. It's all gobbledeegook to me!

If someone could give me an idea of what I am looking for I would be very grateful.

    TIA

    Kimbers

Try the buying advice in Pricerunner.co.uk. I think that it is well written and easy to understand. Also, think twice before buying from tribal UK - you cant be too sure that you would have it by this Christmas... or if you are quite unlucky, the next one!!
  • Not a well known Brand but it's the same price and has Full 1080p HD

So therefore it displays a picture on the screen then doesn't it?
