I've made a batch of soup since I've been home, hope it's edible as it's dinner for the rest of the week. I've also done some PA surveys, it all adds up.

I'm currently trying to weigh up some purchases, I need some books which I can get via the school, using a 20% off voucher which then gives the school rewards, but the books are about £7 each. Or I can get them from the book people for £4, which will give the school points for every tenner I spend but I would have to pay postage. I'm erring towards The book people but then feel guilty about the school getting less funds
  • Although the school will get less funds, if it were me, I'd still go via the Book People as it is the cheaper option.

    Hope the soup was nice?
  • Agreed. Once you’re debt free, you can make a regular donation to the school.

Found your diary so just wanted to say hi! Sounds like you've got lots of plans to help tackle the debt!

Never mind right now about the school getting less funds - you having MORE funds is the important thing at this point!

    How was the soup?!

Also loving the idea of Frovember - and will join in I think as I also need to work through the freezer backlog a bit...been saying that for an absolute AGE though - and will add some more oddments next weekend at the farmer's market most likely - oops!

I agree to go with the book people. The school probably get pennies for your purchase, not the £3 extra you are paying!

Can I ask what PA surveys are? Sorry for my ignorance but I'm new to the survey side of things....

    Thanks x

I did go via the book people and spent enough to get free delivery and £8 off
