£3000 LG OLED TV faulty

I bought a LG OLED TV from Amazon 1/10/2018. I registered it with LG for Warranty purposes. The TV has developed a fault 1 month out of warranty so LG have advised me to talk to Amazon. I've done this but the sale was through a 3rd party who no longer trades so I went back to LG and explained the TV has not lasted for a reasonable amount of time given the cost of the TV. They have offered me 50% discount on a £1100 repair bill. I have escalated this to the next level at LG and am currently waiting for their reply. What rights do I have please and would I benefit looking down a small claims court route to have the TV repaired or replaced?

If the retailer is no longer trading then you are relying on the good will of LG.
Have you checked to see whether the seller is trading elsewhere?0 -
Your rights are solely against the party you purchased from. Unless perhaps there is a extended warranty offered by LG, in which case any warranty offered would be binding on them (but only on the terms they offered it).
Find out who you purchased from and whether they were a limited company. If they weren't then they'd still have liability. If they were a limited company then it would come down to whether that limited company still exists or whether it has been dissolved. You keep using that word. Thx for the advice, unfortunately the trader no longer exists. They had really good feedback and track record but they've gone. I am solely relying on LG generosity i think or small claims court.0

Claim to who? If the company has been dissolved / not longer exists then surely there is no one to claim against.0 -
If you paid on a credit card and can get proof that the fault is due to a manufacturing defect then you could consider a Section 75 claim against the card issuer.

Not questioning your tracing skills but care to give sellers name and address. Some of us may have access to other tools that you don't.0

I was hoping to claim against LG if at all possible? They are the manufacturer of an appliance which has not lasted a reasonable amount of time. Thats the advice I was after, would it hold up in a small claims court?
You stated you did not purchase it from LG, so they are not responsible.
