A tip - whatever browser you use, go into settings and find the autoplay setting and tell it not to autoplay video content - this should save you some data.

Also, if you can, set your email program to read all mail in plain text only - again this will save you a lot of data and also has the added benefit of easily spotting the scam emails, or most of them anyway.

If you managed on 512k with no or not much problem then 2meg will seem a bit quick by comparison, that is until you allow someone else to share your connection......................

What you say is not relevant, I am gonna go with an unlimited one because I use the net so much but just not in an intensive manner; I checked my average usage and it is between 50-100gb a month so that is pretty much a must to have unlimited.

Anyway I have it throttled right now and while it seems maybe a few ms slower loading pages I doubt I would even notice if I didn't know it was throttled. Also youtube videos are playing just fine with no buffering issues.

I think I would manage just fine on this. Then again the offer for 10mbs, which is a significant leap in bandwidth would be only £12 (from £8 per month) but if I didn't need it I might not bother.
