Switch Energy Supplier Without Smart Meter

Is anyone aware of any of the larger / more established energy companies having any competitive tarriffs for people that don't want smart meters? I really don't want to 'upgrade' my perfectly fine and accessible old style meters which I read every month without fail and send readings to Shell Energy who I am currently with. I would like to switch to BG / EON who could save me upwards of £150 a year but both tarriffs state a requirement for smart meters to be installed


Am I just going to have to suck it up and join the revolution?



Or has anyone sharing my view switched and delayed / disputed the smart meters and managed to keep the tarriff?

I've found Avro and Yorkshire Energy to be good and cheap, and neither requires a smart meter.

Switch and Ditch the Six !

Are you looking at supposed savings compared with Shell's Standard Tariff (ie the one you revert to when the tariff runs out).

Do your own sums before you jump.
