Replacing 5 radiators, including moving 3

hi there
We have recently moved into a flat and wish to replace and re-position some radiators to gain back some wall space. In addition to replacing the 5, one further radiator will be removed completely, and the pipework sealed off. 3 radiators will be moved across rooms - two radiators a distance of approx 2m and one radiator a much further distance of about 5m. There is a fair bit of pipework to the done on the replacement radiators, however this is above the floor level as we cannot lift the glued engineered wood flooring in those rooms.
We have received a quote that prices the labour part at over £2k, at 3 days duration - seems a very pricey daily rate, and a bit longer than I'd assume for this work. The parts are also over £1k, although are pretty standard items except one vertical. That gives a full price of over £k, and it appears non-VAT registered.
We are awaiting other quotes, but I'd be grateful for any ballpark figures for what we might expect as a reasonable price.
Cheers
Matt

Many thanks - not a million miles off what we're getting - assume it's the shifting the radiators that has the cost (lift floors, cut channels, make good etc)0

Have you seen the other, similar, thread?
You could take the quote details I posted there, and do similar maths.
What rads are you getting? Basic Stelrad Compact K2 (great quality, and fairly inexpensive)? Or designer (the sky's the limit)? What size?
You are correct that relocating the rads adds a lot to the quote.
(Sorry, forgot to add that £2k for 3 days labour seems very high - but you didn't say how many people are doing the job. I have a new boiler and 3 new rads being installed tomorrow, 1 day of work ... but 3 people, so 3 days of labour.(Nearly) dunroving0 -
4 of the radiators are pretty standard, only one 'fancy' vertical radiator. None particularly big, but we did ask for decent quality that would last for a good while so suspect there's a few quid there.0

Stelrad are very good quality, but not too expensive.
It is worth asking for an itemised quote, including a list of the radiator specs.
I received a detailed quote with the above, all Stelrad Compact K2. Perfectly good rads, but with a bit of online research I discovered a couple of Stelrad lines (Softline and Silhouette) that were a bit nicer looking for not a huge amount more money.
I'm sure most central heating companies couldn't be bothered with finicky customers who can't make up their minds - too much choice can be a curse. However, in my case the CH engineer was perfectly happy to order the Softline rads and make a slightly higher profit.(Nearly) dunroving0
