Hi all
Me and OH are going to Dublin Thursday afternoon through to Saturday evening, so we really have 2 and a half days there.
I'm pregnant, so no drinking, we're both watching the pennies as its coming up to Christmas so I was wondering if you kind people had any recommendations for us as to what to do.
I dont fancy the Guinness factory as I cant drink anyway and I grew up in a pub and have been to beer factories before. However, OH said the views are amazing at the top when you go for a drink. Anyone have any suggestions on where else in the city has amazing views?
Thanks in advance

Try this place Kilmainham Gaol well worth the visit.

If you fancy some art - the Hugh Lane Gallery is a good one (and free). It also includes the reconstruction of Francis Bacon's studio, which makes it a bit different. Also a manageable size - particularly for someone who is pregnant and doesn't fancy traipsing around! The irish national gallery is quite immense and would really take an afternoon to do properly.0

The Natural History Museum and the National Museum ThingyPlace of Ireland are both free and interesting places especially if it's raining. The man without a signature.0

I was in Dublin yesterday and I visited the Guinness storehouse and it was very good. I know you can't drink, but then I can't drink Guinness either as I am a coeliac, bit I enjoyed it none the less.
Other than that we just had coffee and a walk round some of the major sites. I wasn't sure what I was expecting from Dublin, but to be honest I was a little disappointed in the sightseeing. However the people were the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met in all my travels.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
