vodafone contract nightmare

Back in august i called for an upgrade to a s10 and i was given a deal over the phone i ummed and arred about it. She said i will call you back later which surprise she never did so i went on chat to which i was offered a better deal s10 5g and she said i will have a word with my manager and see what price we can get for you.Which came back at 20gb data unlimited minutes and text for £42.90 i said that's a good deal I'll have it.Next day the phone turned up and it was only the s10+. I got on the phone straight away and told them they have sent the wrong phone. told them the offer i was made which they replied no way sorry the tariff is £69.89 for the 5g phone.Told them not what i was offered check the chat logs they came back and said sorry we cant find the log so nothing we can do with out the chat log so sorry we cannot honour that offer. But i had saved the chat and said that to them and was told to go to my local store and show the manager when i got there and showed it to them he said yep thats what i was offered and logged in on the system. Called them back and they looked and said yes we can see now and we will honour it. 1st bill came in in september £69.89 called them back and sorry we cant do it for 42.90. i said i was told that you would honour the deal i was given to which he said ok but i can only get it down to 48.90 but will put a 80.00 on your bill but will look into it for you. Got this months bill £69.90 again i said it should be £42.90 he said no sorry for that phone its £69.89 so i said i cant be bothered with the hassle any more i will send the phone back and he said sorry you cant you are contract now. question is how can i make them see what i was offered and they said they will honour it?

    By suing them for the difference IF you have proof of all of this. You are dealing with Vodafone - nightmares and head banging are standard practice with them. Alternatively register a formal complaint and after 8 weeks (assuming they ignore that) go to the Ombudsman (who generally believe the company and ignore most other things).

    I have the chat log but most of it was done over the phone I guess I could ask for the recordings of all the voice chats I had
