Speeding fine help

What possible relevance is the fact that the criminal was a young mum? Do they have some sort of immunity?
Anyway, some would say that if the police officer(s) in question were any good at tackling knife crime they wouldn't be working in traffic.
As thats fine then, lets just put up with having useless police officers, we can always use them on traffic duties if they dont shape upOne man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0 -

I disagree, many of the are gang related. Let's spend our money on protecting the innocent from road deaths.0 -

If you look at the data around knife crime you see that less than half of that crime is due to gangs or gang-related violence.
How do you propose to use the money to protect the innocent from road deaths? Are speed cameras effective? One man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0 -

And you point there is?
Anyway, I'll leave it there. This site never fails to make me chuckle. People will argue over any thing. We are now discussing if its better to use the resource to fine motorist for breaking the speed limit, which in most cases it a few miles over the limit, or stop knife crime. UnbelievableOne man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0 -

Ah one of those that tells a traffic policeman "Why aren't you out catching 'proper' criminals" Never mind the fact that it isn't his job. You'd rather the roads were lawless and countless people get killed due to poor, reckless and drunk driving.
If you break any criminal law, you are a criminal. That makes most people one at some point or other. If there were no one to enforce traffic law then more would push the envelope and more and more would drive well in excess of the limit.0 -

You'd rather your loved ones killed by a motorist, while I'd rather it didn't happen.
Enjoy your day.0
