We used them and wouldn't recommend, I would go with BOXT - even our Heatable Engineer said to go with BOXT. Going through a claim with them and will update when possible.1

dcweather said:EVerybody will tell you this boiler is better than that. That includes knowledgeable professionals, review sites, customers and of course Which? The general view is that most are good. Worcester Bosch are the most popular, the most well known and the most advertised. They are not the easiest to service but a lot of people have the experience so not really an issue. Viessmann are often cited as the best but people in the trade say Ideal and Vaillant are the best and easiest to work with. Some have a stainless steel heat exchanger which is better. The one the OP suggested would be fine as would any of the other makes mentioned. ANybody who claims otherwise needs to give substantiated back up as to why for the comment to be of any value.0

OP here and I did go with Heatable. Overall experience was good. In fact, it turned out that I needed scaffolding for the installation and Heatable arranged that at no extra cost.
But do note that Heatable are a bit like AirBnB - in the sense that they do not have their own engineers. They hire a local boilerman to do the fitting. So individual experience would differ based on who turns up at your doorstep. But you do get the 10 year warranty with Veissman if you go with them.1 -
I've not used Heatable but I have used BOXT and I was very impressed with them30+ years working in banking0

I've just had a new boiler installed by Heatable. The price seemed fair (£2550) for a Bosch boiler. I used them because I found it almost impossible to get an install or even a quote from a local guy. The fitter ironically was local (about 20 mins in the next village).
Job took about 6 hours. Rubbish removed and now have a warranty. I wont have to use them again for a long time but I'd be happy to use them if I needed to sooner.
Hope that helps1
