Thank you so much for all the information. I have decided to let a company fight this for me. I have not got the time to do the hours of research but do not want to give VCS money for what seems to be very unfair. I will keep you posted to the outcome

    Thanks again
I hope it wasn't someone from the forum who sent you a PM. There are some unscrupulous people who do that. There are also some nice people.

Do what now, without asking us for an opinion on them? OUCH.

You did look up their reputation on Trustpilot first...?

Some are worse and more aggressive to their 'customers' than any PPC are, believe me. I MEAN FAR WORSE. And the Trustpilot reviews of one firm make your eyes water.

There are very few such firms so buyer beware and you are better off here, 100%.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Can someone help.

Ema bp petrol station WHAT TO DO NOW that CCJ defence response has come through.

I asked for case to be adjourned. I got a reply for telephone interview by local court.
My proofs and defences they have so far.

I have given bank statement as receipt.
    Defences mentioned:
1 - I have mentioned no keeper liability so what do i have to say about this?
2 - No contract existed (how should i elaborate on the telephone interview?)
3 - inadequate, contradictory, unclear, confusing signage (does anyone who fought this case before have photo or video evidence)
4 - unfair terms contrary to consumer rights act 2015 ( how do i elaborate on the phone?)
5- no grace period (the item was bought prior to car getting there, and the passenger got in car and left with 2 minutes) but the recording they have is only for 1 minute according toland owner. So what should be said?

6_ double recovery - again how do i explain this. I didnt manage to respond till the CCJ.

All help will be appreciated a lot.

You should start your own thread after reading the NEWBIE sticky on the first page of the forum and also read this about telephone hearings: -

As above , start your own thread for help and advice , because you won't get it in somebody else's thread
