When will people learn a contract is a contract that works both ways.
If it says 12 months you pay for 12 months.

I paid for 6 months of an 18 month contract and was allowed to leave.

How does this fit in to your black and white statement?

Already explained at post #8 of this thread, the poster concerned explained he was in financial hardship due to dismissal and Sky made a goodwill gesture after being sent proof of this.

So when is the next Sky price rise that may allow the OP to leave under Ofcom rules is the big question .

Isn’t this about Sky TV, the right to quit a minimum term if the supplier puts up prices , as far as I know, only applies to Phone and broadband , not TV, so should Sky increase TV prices , that in itself, probably wouldn’t trigger a get out contract opportunity

The OP does only refer to Sky Q, but it's perfectly feasible that he or she has other services from Sky as part of a bundle.
