The card company is saying my Credit Card isn't a Credit Card its a pre-paid debit card! - I have a credit limit and I don't have to pay it off every month, In my book that's a CC. Anyway, they are processing a chargeback for me
Certainly sounds like revolving credit rather than a pre-paid debit or charge card
This is obviously linked to your other posts in another thread. Fingers crossed the Chargeback sticks. The retailer may dispute your claims. You may then need documentary evidence of the difference between what was described to you at the time of the sale and what you actually got.0 -

Is the "credit limit" money that you've already given them?
If you owe them money, then it's not pre-paid.
Either you used a pre paid debit card to make the purchase, or the person you spoke to got the wrong account up.0 -
And for completeness, S75 doesn't apply* if you use a CC and the amount charged to the card is wholly covered by a positive balance.
(* not aware of any test cases and such situations would be rare. But this is the "received wisdom" and is my interpretation of the Act which refers to the lender financing a transaction.)0 -
