'A note of comfort for anyone getting older' blog discussion

  • Therefore growing old is compulsory, but growing up isn't. QED.

I turned 53 recently... If growing up means becoming staid, boringly predictable and set in one's ways, then I never want to grow up.

On the other hand, if getting older means chances to become less crassly insensitive, more open-hearted, wiser, then I say: Bring it on!

Another comforting thought – if I am 53, and 53 is a prime number (which it is), then I am in the prime of life! So there.biggrin.gif

And when I turn 54, I can look forward to the next prime age! No problem, as there is an endless supply!

    Cheers
