Just googled them....OMG....fools and their money....

As for what you do OP I have no idea other than complaining higher up the chain

I've sent an email to the customer service team, I'm 19, so they are expensive, but most people mu age, especially in the mordern world make a few big purchases, I'm usually good with my money, but as I said, just waiting for a response, had I been informed about the seemingly made up policy, I would understand, but I wasnt and that is my issue.

OP seems to have missed the forums name! And maybe Specsavers. :D
I didn't know where to put it, dunno why ya'll are so harsh, I'm 19 meanwhile you're probably a middle aged person with nothing better to do but berate people asking for help

Who is behind the 'Flannels' brand?
Just Google where they are based.
Quite close to a sports company owned by a certain M Ashley...
    Just sayin'....

Are you suggesting Mr Ashley is diversifying and "reaching out" to a more affluent market?

Meanwhile I'm going out for a run in my (relatively) cheapo ASICS Cumulus - it's what they're designed for.

Well you have not told us how much you paid but they appear to be upto £1600, so not a money saving purchase are they?

It's the way the shoes designed, as I have wide feet, they were abit tight width wise but a little too big length wise, I tried next size up and it felt too big, they're not too uncomfortable, I just wouldn't be able to wear them for long.

So you tried them on, two pairs and still purchased them?
  • OP, apologies for those who chose to mock you rather than help.

You are relying on their policy here, not your statutory rights, so you should probably start by sending a complaint in writing to the head office and to the shop, pointing out that you agreed terms at the point of sale and that they are now refusing to honour their side of the deal.

For those mocking, you should be ashamed, people don’t lose their rights just because they spend their money on things that you would not.

Obviously there's more to this? OP has already stated staff told her about 'fakes', could this be the real reason all return attempts are being denyed.

Thank you man, hugely appreciated! I will be writing into the head office, once again, as I am constantly saying, at no point was I told that I would not be able to return them because of what the product is, also, thanks for understanding! I understand that this is a money saving place, yes it's alot to spend on a shoe, but I am always saving my money so like to treat myself every now and again.
