Flannels Refused Refund

I brought some shoes (Yeezys) from flannels in oxford street a few days ago, was told I could get a refund in form of exchange or credit note at the time, it also says this at the bottom of the receipts and on the website, anyways I decided they weren't for me and I tried to take them back in the exact same condition I brought them in exchange for a credit note yesterday, but was told that I cannot receive any kind of refund because of what the product is, the main reason being that I could be trying to take back a fake copy, which I think is ridiculous as this could be the case for every product, also it was purchased from the flight club section from the store, however this means nothing as I was served by a flannels employee, so it shouldn't make a difference.
Anyways, as I said, I showed each employee that I spoke to yesterday that it says I can get a credit note refund on the receipt, even spoke to the "Second floor manager" who didn't seem to interested in what I had to say, he even said to me "It says on the receipt that I cannot get a refund for that specific product" and when I showed him it doesn't say that anywhere, he just went back to his points about how the shoe needs to be authenticated, however they did not do it in the store and didn't give me any help or guidance, correct me if I am wrong, but since it says I can get a refund on the receipt, they are in the wrong, what steps shall I take next?
Also this is what it says at the bottom of the receipt "We are happy to offer an exchange or credit note for items purchased after Friday 25th October 2019 returned unworn and in perfect condition within its original packaging will be accepted until Saturday 5th January 2020 your statutory rights will not be affected"

Yes - someone has to pay for Kanye West and Kim Kardashians Instagram lifestyle, and it looks like the OP has helped fund a second or two for them.0 -
Yep to both of you, I am into my fashion, it is what it is, don't have a problem spending that much, just not for me0

What didn't you like about them?0

Just googled them....OMG....fools and their money....
As for what you do OP I have no idea other than complaining higher up the chain0 -
Jesus! I'm going to show this site to my husband and tell him never to complain about my shoe addiction again - my Jimmy Choos and Ferragamos are a bargain in comparison and they at least look good.

OP seems to have missed the forums name! And maybe Specsavers.0 -
You are all very unkind. You're meant to be nice to new posters.
