Unless it's floor standing I can't recall a wall mounted open flue Baxi...my guess is an old Baxi Solo 2. If it has a white panel at the bottom pull that off and the data badge should be facing you. That is room sealed.0

Thanks i think you are right and it's a solo 2 model.
Do you know if i can get someone to connect a modern thermostat to it? I have a old style timer connected at the moment so not much settings available. Ideally I would smart thermostat but I would be happy with anything modern.0 -
You may be able to replace your existing timer with a programmable thermostat, depends on how many wires are present and how the system has been pumped.
The boiler itself is standard 240 volt L N E connections and a switched L call for heat.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
