Last month Luke Hall – a current DCHLG minister ... said government was still 'considering the options for delivery of the Code.'
What is there to consider when millions of motorists, the voters, are being scammed by private parking companies EVERY DAY
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/cars/article-7639935/Private-parking-firms-issue-9m-tickets-drivers-year.html
What could be the agenda of Luke Hall MP, representing Thornbury and Yate, his Constituency ????
'The DVLA does not profit from the release of information from its registers. The £2.50 fee is set to recover the cost of providing the information.'
Do the DVLA have an accounting problem because any fool and his dog could make a profit collecting over £16 million using a computer automated system ???
Sir Greg Knight who put in a lot of work to defend the motorist must be very disappointed that he has to wait for the inept Luke Hall who is still considering what to do ...... A YEAR LATER ???

Luke Hall – a current DCHLG minister ... said government was still 'considering the options for delivery of the Code. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Here's Mr Hall's statement in full.. basically more delay:-

My biggest concern is how the people who are most affected by these scammers, motoring public in general, are going to get a fair opportunity to comment on wording of the mandatory CoP before it is introduced, and how the motoring public will even get to know about it and how important it will be to comment.I married my cousin. It will probably be another consultation just like the last one in May 2015:-

Yes, but not many members of the public knew about it or commented.
Nine million tickets per year has the potential for nine million or more comments.
How will anyone, including us, know about it?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Maybe we should all bombard Luke Hall with emails, letters, tweets and by any other means of communication available expressing displeasure at his tardiness, both before and after the forthcoming election.
Perhaps voters in his constituency could also raise the issue at the local hustings level as well - he might get the message or something of the people's displeasure might just sink in.
He might fear losing his seat and this could stir him into action.
Or not.0 -
I rather think that Sir Greg Knight started this and Sir Greg Knight should finish it quickly.
Does Luke Hall want to be seen delaying a totally corrupt industry scamming the public .... what would his constituents think ???0 -
I am a bit worried about the term "engaging stakeholders". "Drain the swamp" would be a better term.

I have a feeling the BPA will paint a picture of carmageddon and panic will set in. The parking industry is slick with big resources whereas the opposition to them is a small bunch with no funding.0

A stakeholder is someone with an interest in money.
So the two dinosaur ATA's and the likes of Parking Eye and the DVLA
BUT ...... as the DVLA keep saying they don't make a profit ? What interest could they have ..... SEE THE JOKES AND LIES0
