I'm sure that you'll get a broad cross section of opinion. Post up the funds and %'s held in each.

Ok thanks hsbc are having a free look at my portfolio to see what they think of it .

No disrespect intended, but that's a bit like going to a VW dealership and telling them that at home you and the husband/wife have a Ford and a Vauxhall. They'll no doubt be happy to offer to take a 'free look' at your fleet to see if there are any changes that they could perhaps suggest to help you get a better transport solution. While being contractually bound to only recommend suitable VW group products.

Just highlight the portfolio with your mouse and copy-paste the text which shows the name and amount or percentage. Nobody cares about the graphics and fonts from your account screen.

  • I know there are some obvious changes I need to do in this portfolio but it has been neglected last few years which has probably cost me thousands. I would appreciate any comments

My accounts with HL resembled, in a smaller way, yours a year ago. No clear strategy at all, I'm about 50% through moving/consolidating them to global diversified low-cost funds (mostly passive but some actively managed) but staying with HL platform(I have a lower account fee rate with them).
I realise I'm far from an expert but prefer to do it myself than an IFA (poor past experience) .Not qualified/knowledgeable enough to give you advice on your funds but I'm sure more experienced members will guide you.

Immediate observations are that it appears to lack structure and includes some investments that need changing. Some of which should have been removed years ago.

I take it that this was not an advised portfolio?

To be honest, if that was an IFA portfolio, I would be disappointed. So, it looks like you went from one poor experience to another poor experience.
