Just checked Lloyds and PO Savings decided they'd take it today instead of yesterday. Bless 'em!

Perhaps the title of the thread needs changing as the issue is BM & not the switch.

    Done.

I thought "BM DD error" would have been sufficient but I agree it could have been clearer.

So, in the end, mine was paid twice - on the day of the switch and then on the regular day itself!

do you need a chequebook for the account you want to link to BM?
or can I use a cheque from another account that I have?

IIRC, initial deposit has to be made by cheque and whichever account cheque is from, will be your default linked account.

However, once BM account is up and running, you can change your linked account online.

I'm assuming you want a BM account as a DD source:cool: If not, I would look elsewhere for a savings account.
