Monzo - foreign transaction still not showing

Hi, did try and find an existing thread but nothing too recent, so here goes...
Just returned from Berlin where I mainly used my Monzo card, every single transaction was showing on the app within about 10 seconds of me doing it....except one on Wednesday which as of 12.55pm today, 48 hours later, still isnt there.
Live chat werent much help, so just wondered if this has also happened to anyone else who is with Monzo, and how long it finally took to appear? Just to clarify it was a POS transaction at a restaurant, PIN entry.

It's a different bank but that's unlikely to be significant as the delay is almost certainly at the merchant's end and therefore outside your bank's control - likewise the method of authorisation (i.e. PIN v contactless) isn't likely to be relevant to settlement timescales....0 -
It would only show 'instantly, if the retailer went online for authorisation approval. It sounds like this transaction didn't go online - hence it isn't showing. In this situation, only when the retailer clears the transaction through his processing bank, will it show on your account - that could be a few days down the line.
There is, of course, an alternative answer - the retailer has had technical problems and hasn't been able to process the transaction. You'll just have to wait and see if/when it appears. Maybe it never will.0 -
Hmm someone waiting 4 months there, will just have to make sure I keep the money in there then. Only use it abroad and not abroad again until February now.0
