    Evening

that's sounds like an excellent way to spend your potting VickyA. oooh, a Fortnum's hamper, very nice. Have you been to the ice cream parlour there? Its my guilty please :D

Great to see you over here Westie, happy potting

you are certainly making the most from your savings Robin09. Glad your potting made the difficult time following your DH's accident a bit easier. I hope he is recovering/has recovered well.

sometimes I don't potted for days and days Indigowarrior, but everything you do pot soon adds up to a nice little sum by the end of the year, so keep going :money:

secret santa sounds perfect siju, it would definitely take the pressure off on Christmas morning :D

Our Sue still isn't well, so lets keep each with going. She will be back though as soon as she is able :A

    Nearly the weekend.

Potting is underway and a coin or two has gone in everyday via pocket/wallet raiding of dh, purse emptying and house roadkill 😂 My jar is the same one i’ve been using since SPC 2, I think I missed SPC 1 🙁

Have a great day and ((hugs)) to those that need one

Feeling slightly giddy; just potted £4.50! Shopping was below budget last night and I’ve just emptied my purse and put a crisp tenner in there for next weeks pocket money. I also hit my mortgage overpay target for the year last night so feeling very virtuous :). On holiday next Tuesday so plan to spend some of SPC 12 on Christmas preparations. Just returned home from having an interview; I talked a lot but whether it made sense goodness know :rotfl: Didnt get the test finished though, hoping that won’t make too much difference :(

    Hi everyone:j

A new year of saving:D 2020 should be a much better year than this year both with savings and home life.

My husband has finished his treatment this week so it's now recovery time. I'm trying to stay as positive as possible but some days are really stressful and I just want to cry:cry: Dealing with work, a little one and caring and worrying about my husband is taking its toll on me but I love my family so so much and I will be there for them as they are for me. It would be nice when people ask me how my husband is doing they would ask me how I am sometimes but that is me just being selfish;)

I've started off my new tin very well and would like to set a target of £600.00 this time. Go saving:T £15 from scratch cards and £4.00 change from buying daughter a new PE jumper in the pot today.

I'll try to post more now that things are hopefully going in a positive direction:A

It difficult to pot change when we use cards isn’t it. I have a chip account which transfers money from my current account into my chip account, which sort of counteracts the card using :money:
