There has been some great potting happening, and a real buzz about the thread. Everyone has made a great start to the new challenge :j:beer:
Does anyone want to share what they have used the money saved in SPC 12’s for? I changed the coins into dollars for an upcoming trip, the rest of the savings are still where they came from, so, so far, I don’t have anything to show for the money. Has anyone bought anything exciting? Bought any pets? Special treats? Anything sensible? Shopping is one of my biggest hobbies so I love to whepat others have bought  :rotfl:

Oooh, well I've got some of my SPC spoils earmarked for a subscription. That's the stuff potted from TopCashback. The rest is going towards C*****mas - taking DH to see Upstart Crow in February and getting my parents a (small) Fortnum's hamper. :j

My savings for spc12 were for Christmas and DD's next month, a long weekend away and a London trip with DS to the theatre in a couple of weeks. Things have been so tight as DH had time off work due to an accident and having money saved has helped immensely.SPC 0760

Didn't pot anything yesterday.No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 1340 -
I usually use my potted money over the Christmas period for going out with the family. We generally have a quick drink in the pub early on Christmas Eve and perhaps a meal out with everyone when we all manage to get together. We decided last year not to buy presents for everyone as we are all adults, so we do a secret santa instead. It's brilliant, we set a budget and only have to buy for one person. It took all the stress out of buying last year and made it more fun when we did get together. It also meant Christmas morning wasn't spent with me rushing in to see everyone unwrapping their presents and trying to sort out the dinner! I would recommend this to anyone who is in an all adult time of their life. If will be different when I've got grandchildren though.................
Nothing to pot today but hoping for some cash tomorrow. Have a lovely weekend folksSPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830 -
