i've got an aston martin DB9 if you want one? yours for £600
I don't think that's helpful, do you?
What you or I or anyone else might've done when presented with an opportunity to purchase a £2,500 RRP laptop at a saving of £900 from an established eBay seller with positive feedback in respect of high monetary value transactions is as irrelevant as your sarcasm is inappropriate.0 -
i'm gonna leave this thread alone.
good luck getting your money back and all that.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
You should have an email from eBay confirming your win & that may have the sellers address details
Although the address line is usually left out but that can be found via the postcode & a search on www.192.com to reveal the sellers address.0 -
When i look in my 'Items I've won' section, I can see the title but when I click on it I get:
This listing has been removed or is no longer available
I can't see a way of getting the address?0 -
I recently (just days ago) had an item I had paid for with Paypal de-listed by Ebay overnight.
I emailed them through the help pages, and their reply said they could give me the seller's details if I replied requesting them. Then they sent me his (he got mine at the same time) and I was lucky in that we agreed a refund, and it was only for £30.
Good luck - I hope it's not too late now that you have had a refund of sorts.0 -
Try an advanced search.
Tick the "Completed listings only" box near the top and enter the Sellers ID. Just worked for me for an item ended early, although that might be a different situation.
Also post on the eBay Q&A communities board to get greater coverage.
Oh, and good luck!0 -

this is no help at all, but i can't honestly believe people shell out like £1,500 on ebay for an item they haven't seen.
I'm with you on this and I think we might be a minority
We had been in touch with a seller on ebay who had an ebay shop. Has excellent feedback for selling furniture. He cut us a deal for a dining table and 8 chairs but there's no way I was going to part with my money without seeing the items. We drove quite a distance to see the items and were well happy with them, so much in fact I bought a matching sideboard whilst there
By the way, this post isn't meant to be sarcastic or anything. We all have different levels of comfort on ebay and I'm just paranoid when spending more than £20 :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Please tell me you funded Paypal by Credit Card!!
If not Why Not? this is the only way to use paypal especially for high transactions,
If you did use credit card you can now do a credit card reversal and claim the money back that way."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Yes i dont have a problem with people buying high vaule items on ebay but if i was to do so the only way would have been via paypal and via my CC.0
