I received the first sim the day after ordering, but they said they could only do one at that time due to technical problems. The other would follow! I have had to phone them a couple of times about it. And as I type this am waiting for a call back from them!
I have run out of credit for my old sim and obviously don't want to waste money topping up.:mad:0 -
They have ordered me another one TODAY if they had given me the correct information last week I would have phoned the day after the original order and ordered the second one! Never Mind0

Virgin, in my opinion, pull a bit of an unfair stunt when you port out. They charge me for the whole last month as they say the monthly minutes and texts they charge for each month are bought at the start of your contract month.
Therefore if you are port out only a day after your contract month they take the whole month fee and won't refund pro-rata back.
This is different to all other operators I have been with before.0 -

My Virgin Sim came today but I need to unlock my phone! is there a way of doing it myself or do I have to take it to the man that can? usually on a market stall!!!

I think its best to take it to the chap at the market or one of the several "unlockers" there are in every town. Usually costs about £10-£15 and takes about 5 minutes.
Don't try to do it yourself, unless you are technically minded. At least i wouldn't!!0 -

I went to the local unlocking bloke, he said he could get it done over the weekend and let me have it Monday
which I thought was a bit odd! Then he tried to sell me a phone!
I came home and ordered one from Virgin £29.99:T Its better than the one I have got, so for the extra £20 its worth it.;) I'll keep my other one charged up for incoming calls from people who don't need my new number.:rolleyes:0
