Worst outcome for the wealth of this country would be a Conservative majority. Activists have infiltrated the Party via Arron Banks and the Brexit Party. Likely consequence of a Tory Govt is the UK defaulting on the bill to the EU agreed by the previous Govt, followed by a another crisis and possible no-deal exit in a year's time.
They've just agreed a deal with the EU!! Which includes a so-called "divorce bill". And have refused to listen to Trump and do an pre-election deal with the Brexit party.
If you are not a political animal but believe that the Conservatives probably have messed up and deserve to lose power, tactical voting should be considered.

Team Gina Miller is still crunching the numbers on that, look out for information on Remainunited.org in c one week's time.
I might vote tactically, first priority stop Corbyn, second stop Brexit, but the second is unlikely to be achievable. At least Boris has a deal.

Correct, but May's Govt agreed a similar deal and the "firm within a firm" inside the Conservative Party spiked it. Since *they* - Rees-Mogg, Redwood, Biker et al - have already promised to renege, a Con majority would only embolden the Brexit-loons. Then:
This time next year, another cliff-edge.

    Really? Evidence for this?

A large majority would render them irrelavent. That's what TM was hoping for 2 years ago.
  • If Corbyn's promises about carbon free housing is to be believed then get a pension fund invested in solar panels and insulation 😀

My take is similar zagfles but believe the priority is the other way round:

In the event, a Labour Govt promise to put the Brexit issue back to the country within six months, when one of the options will be to remain on current terms.

    No remainer should expect more.

Corbyn is 69/70. I'm no fan. He's a Leaver. But that's ok. We can always choose a new PM.
But once we're out of the EU, that is a far bigger deal, there would be no way back.

McDonnell is no different. The party at large has been taken over, so Corbyn’s replacement is likely to be a fellow traveller.

    Great minds think alike.

Spotted three glaring mistakes in that short message Mordko.

McDonnell is different, and the Labour manifesto is going to be costed.

The party is a broad church (70% correlation between voting Labour and remain) unlike the Conservative Party which has gambled its future on something that is antithetical to the interests of the country it serves.

    3) Kier Starmer, Hilary Benn etc
