  • So it’s for your son.

What if one day he decides to stop paying you back for it or he can’t pay it for a few months?

Why can’t he source his own credit?

Replacing 5 £300 laptops will still be cheaper than a new MacBook and you’re unlikely to go through that many so fast.

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that works fine with no issues and a 2009 Mac desktop that again works fine with no issues.

You can get JD Williams £1500 Macbooks for about £900 elsewhere, they are massively overpriced.

Take the half your son was stumping up front and add £150 to it and save yourself £600 plus interest.

Personally I buy high spec 2nd hand Dell ex-business laptops for myself and kids off ebay for about £150-£200 and usually get a good 3-4 years out of them.
  • Thank you! That could be an option maybe we could just save up and get it. And my son can’t get credit yet guys- he’s 16 and in college. He won’t stop paying me because he’s got half the money sitting In his account now. I wish I did :rotfl: I guess were not all that lucky. Maybe I can get it elsewhere and get my dyson there instead, if they go down in the Black Friday sales, as the one I want is only £199 as of now :D
