I have been using the Barclays app since it was first introduced. It updates just fine on both google and iOS, never had any problems.

Barclays always had problems with android phones. I had issues with their app last year too when my andriod wasnt compatible, even though it was the latest model. Took around 3 weeks to finally update it (was not just me, but apparantly a worldwide issue with barclays and andriods)
