If you want to stay on O2 have a look at Sky Mobile deals for the Mate P20 pro and the P20 pro. Sky uses the O2 network and its a simple job to port your number across to their network. Sky Mobile roll over your unused data month by month for up to 3 years. If you take a phone on contract with them you can select the 2GB data no limits on texts and calls for £7 a month. For a Mate P20 pro the monthly charge is £17 for 24 months and then £11 a month in years3. £540 total for the phone but the sim is a reasonable amount to compensate for this.

It looks like a good deal, but I have decided that I want to get Huawei P Smart 2019 smartphone. Can you please find me a good deal?

Can I transfer my number to keep my number when I get a contract?

Do you think is sim monthly deal best option for me than to go on contract?

You can find the P smart 2019 for about £150 if you just google for "P smart 2019 sim free". With a better camera, bigger battery, more memory and with an aluminium frame you can find the Mate P20 lite for about £190. On Sky Mobile with the £7 sim I mentioned above the P Smart 2019 is £14 a month for two years then £9 in years three. (total phone cost = £192), The Mate 20 Lite is £15 a month for two years and £11.50 in year three. (total cost is £246).
The phones cost more doing it this way but you will be getting a good deal on the 2GB data roll over sim.
Changing your number over is as simple as sending "PAC" in a text to your old network using your old sim (to the number they give you).
Then when they text you back, the code they send you is given to your new provider together with your old telephone number.
In the case of Sky Mobile you use your online account to to this - by 5pm and they text your new phone the next day to say the change is complete.

Wait until black friday and get yourself a nice discount on either haha

I am happy to wait until black friday as I have got plenty of time to do so while I am doing some research for a better deal.

Yeah I can find the P smart 2019 for £150 so do I have to buy the P smart 2019 before I get the sim card from Sky Mobile or I can get the sim card for free when I buy the smartphone?

I will get the good deal from Sky Mobile as I dont use the data much so it don't really matter.

Amazon for the P smart, £149.

Yes you just inform your current network your wanting to leave and you request your pac code, might even be able to do this via text then once you get it give the code to your new provider and your number is moved across.

If you want to keep your number then that is not difficult. When your contract ends use a PAC to transfer your number to id mobile or someone else. Seems to me that if you but your phone for £319 and pay £8 per month for 24 months for the IM card that will come to £511, significantly cheaper than the £25 per month saving £89 over two years.
