EE/Quidco - "Please call us to discuss your order"
I just tried to buy a 12 month sim-only contract with EE, clicking through from Quidco, which should get me £45 cashback.
At the end of the order process I got a screen saying "Please call us to discuss your order" with a reference number to quote. The Quidco page very clearly says you won't get cashback "if you complete your order over the phone". This is all very annoying. Given retailers never seem to know or care about cashback sites, I thought I'd ask here - has anyone else experienced this? Is it best I tell them over the phone (when I call them tomorrow) to cancel it, or will it be fine?

Cashback? - unlikely.
If you cancel it, what are you going to do next?0 -
Firstly, I left Quidco because the dealer renaged on more than one cashback with a highly spurious reason - so I wouldn't trust them to pay up anyway.
Secondly, when they did pay in past years/decades I have needed to call a handful of times. As long as you ensure you keep the same ordewr number/details that didn't cause a loss of cashback. It's usually a security check or a minor question.
Guess it depends on how desperate you are to get the deal; there are a few decent (cashback of a sort you can enforce) ones available right now but not sim-free (they are usually better when you want lots of data).0
