  • @reasonable_person where have you got to with this? I have received the same fine dated 22nd September. ECP have rejected appeal. Wondering if I should appeal to POPLA.
I too did not know or notice the new signs and only found out when I went to pay for my extra hour and couldn’t find the machines.

There is no need to wonder about whether to use POPLA.

The NEWBIES thread post #3 tells everyone how to appeal to POPLA and what to say, and other ECP threads show you that some win and some lose, but NOT A SINGLE PERSON - UNLESS THEY ARE A COMPLETE NUMPTY, pays ECP even if they lose the POPLA stage. Who cares?!

I've ignored ECP myself before POPLA existed, but it's useful as a step to try.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
