With your new figures I reckon your EDF tariff is costing you £1154 a year and that's £96 a month ie at £85 you are underpaying - is your account actually in debit?

The CEC site gives a EDF tariff at £98 and there is EON BG etc at about £77

    Why stick with EDF ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

No I'm not underpaying, and I am well in credit, after considering payments made and outstanding.

Thought I had addressed my reasons for staying with EDF, please read my OP.

You may be in credit now but you are only 5 months into your fix with the winter to come.

PS Just had a look on CEC - they give an annual cost under your Blue tariff of £1154 and show EDF with a variable for £98
