Signal Strength on Landis Gyr Smart Meter
Hi,
I had a Landis Gyr E470 Type 5424 smart meter fitted back in August by EDF. They are saying that it is not connecting to the national system so they cannot see it. On the meter the signal strength inductor is showing 3 bars (just like on a mobile phone). EDF say that it needs to be 5 bars to get connected. Because of this they will not give me an in house display.
If anybody has the same meter can you tell me how many bars are on our your display?
Thanks

If Edf can not connect to your meter they can not commission your IHD. The bars are sort of irrelevant.0

The fitter should have checked that there was sufficient signal before installing the new meter - but this is what happens when they have targets to meet:mad:0
