Lil_me - what a lovely present to give your friend. Glad he's doing so well.

I was sitting here thinking of nothing in particular when I suddenly remembered I have library books!!! Renewed them online and I owe...wait for it....£10.08! What an idiot! (yes, i'm watching Jack Dee).

grrrr LJD1 I hate paying money on stuff like that!

i am watching a prog about a groom arranging the whole wedding! made me a bit weepy, and made me remember a few things to do for my own (bridesmaids necklaces etc!) there is no way i'd leave my OH to plan the whole thing!!! much as i adore him...

LJD1 I thought so too, I have gone to a friend who only does part time photography rather than a studio because I wanted someone who wouldn't mind working how we can get the best photos as Matthew is still missing hair in places and has very bad scars including on his neck, I explained all this and he's said that he's willing to see what we can do, in fact he said I am worrying over nothing :o . The photos he has done of his own daughter are amazing so hoping Matthew's will be just as good. I have told them why I am borrowing him as she was suspicious and of course reluctant to let him out of her sight, but have told them they aren't seeing it until Xmas!

Also with the library books, I have started buying them from the charity shops and car boots etc more than borrowing them because I am a nightmare for forgetting about renewing them. I do have a couple of books out now from the library bus, must write in my diary when they are due back!

Rach I was watching it too, wasn't it lovely when she seen the dress, could see she was thrilled. He did a great job. The one who was on last week, or was it the week before, he was great but his bride, what a nightmare she was! I am with you about trusting men to organise things like that. I think I would be reluctant (even if I don't plan on getting married) but the part where they give them a huge chucnk of money towards it, I think anyone would be mad to turn down.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • we were watching that rach - i said to DH, if we were going on a programme like that i would have sat down first and gone, oh, i really like this colour, and if you go to this bridal shop the nice lady will show you what i want.

The guy did really well to pull it off especially as they had only been together 15 months.

I have had a lovely evening with DH, even if we were sat with BBC3 on all evening. We were having a laugh.

The house is not looking too bad, and i feel a bit better for my afternoon nap today. Plan is to hang up the couple of things in the WM, and then go to bed.

LJD like the plan to clean up in the advert breaks. That is very achievable for anyone to do 2 minutes, and it is surprising what you can manage to do in such a short time.

tia - well done on the debt free date.

Oh, and it is official that it is xmas, i heard my first xmas song on the radio yesterday, and the lights were all on in the next village as i drove through it and it looked really pretty.

    Night night.

yeah he did do really well on that programme, i'd be like you though michelle. i am far too much of a control freak to do something like that! i have to say i think i've been pretty chilled about our wedding though, other people seem to get really stressed out by it. i guess i have had more pressing stresses such as finding a job and a place to live!

i ordered OH's xmas present tonight, very easy as we both set up amazon wishlists! not very romantic but hey. loads of stuff has gone from mine which is nice :) i might stick an ipod on there now i'm going to be commuting for at least an hour each way every day! to be honest we're keeping christmas very low key this year with our wedding, my sister's wedding and steve's brother's wedding there's enough to pay for! it's also my 30th in jan!!

    Morning All

Daresay I'm first up as usual!

I'm just going to have a quick tidy round in the LR while the kids are still in bed - I was too tired last night and DH didn't make it home again!

I need to try and get on top of things over the weekend although it's not looking too bad (downstairs). Next week I've got a busy week - as well as working fulltime :

Tuesday - I'm having my hair done
Thursday - it's the Christmas do
Friday - it's the Christmas fair at LOs' school and I'm helping out there

so that sort of uses up all my free time for next week.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day

On the plus side my bathroom was nice and clean:D
Will do some light flying today before i go to work tonight.
