Why was the tifgroup thread removed? Contained a lot of useful experiences from actual customers, rather than the vague nonsense on Trustpilot.

Sigh ................:(0

So a very long, very critical thread about tifgroup was removed.
A number of people criticising them/warning others on twitter have had their accounts suspended.
Trustpilot reviews removed and extremely suspect 5-star reviews replacing them.
Would you buy insurance with these folk?0 -
hmmmmm, that's not very positive from a "consumer champion" website like this.0
-
I cannot express how dissapointed I am.
If there was a reasonable legal reason for it being removed then I'd be sympathetic if that is what we're told. But the whole reason for this web site and it's success is all about being champion of consumer rights and consumer protection. If is the lifeblood of this whole thing.
I hope we are told why this has happened. It is important to do so.0 -
Hi all,
While we can understand the disappointment about the removal of the thread we can’t go into detail on the reasons why this happened for legal reasons.
The removal was not a decision made by my Forum Team, it was removed following the conclusion of a legal process.
Hopefully this answers some of the questions, but please understand we can’t comment further on this.

So they are targeting negative reviews and reviewers on public forums? What a nice bunch if true.0

Thanks for explaining. It's removal is regrettable but understandable.
Hopefully this thread can be left so at least "members" can see that there has been a discussion about TIF and for whatever reasons TIF has taken action to have it removed.0
