in Credit cards
I'm on Maternity leave. My money is due to drop for next 4 months until I go back on the hours I was on.
My credit rating is 999 according to the checker thing. I want to try and keep it like that. I pay off my credit card in full each month. I've had it for ages and frankly the company has been a pain in the bum. Was going to wait to change when I need to buy the next big purchase, which hopefully won't be for a while.
But this month I know I've spent more than I can afford to pay off in full. We've all had to buy outfits for a big wedding we're going to (bought as cheap as possible though and can use them for other weddings coming up).
Do I transfer the debt to a new card or just slowly pay it off or get an interest free card?

If you can get a BT card, then do that.
Unfortunately your 999 score is useless when it comes to applying for credit (or anything else, for that matter). Lenders will only judge you on your circumstances, credit history and affordability.
Affordability is your major problem.0 -
Ignore your credit score. No-one except you will see this number and it has no bearing on your ability to get credit. What really matters is your credit history (ie. the contents of your credit files).
As above, you're probably going to struggle with getting a new BT card based on affordability. Check a few eligibility checkers to see what your options are though. If nothing decent comes up you'll just have to suck it up I'm afraid. Make sure to pay at least the minimum balance and then throw any and all extra cash at the debt to minimise the interest you are paying.0 -
I'd assume my credit history is good. I've never missed a payment before, sprays paid off in full every month.0

You don't need to (and shouldn't) assume - you can check it on your credit files (all three).
But there's still the affordability issue to overcome.0
