Lens problems with thin lenses

Has anyone had problem with blurry on edges when had thinner lenses as optician said that's why edges are blurred on new glasses

Have you been in to Boots and Asda, if not why not?
Re reading your answer it looks like you have and they are saying it’s the thinner lenses is the issue, who said that boots or Asda.0 -

It's a bottomless hamper filled with all you can desire in the world. Apart from a pair of spectacles that can focus perfectly when you look through the thin edges of the lenses, because that's physically impossible to achieve with the way optics work.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0 -
Maybe the blurry edge is so bad the OP can’t find their other posts or read the answers given0
