Well, I had new prescription for glasses from boots went to Asda to get new glasses , collect them and the edges are blurred when look through,
I am not sure what do I do as I went to different places , am I able to ask for glasses refund? And get another test elsewhere

Because you went to two places it is going to be a pain.
Are the glasses to the prescription?
Is the prescription wrong?
Much easier if you go to the same place.
I find asda great for eye tests and glasses, but mistakes occur now you are just in the middle of everyone assusing each other.
I have had glasse before I suspected were not as prescription, they had a machine to test and admitted they were not and re-did the lenses.
Refund I guess not so much likely.
Prescription issue. I guesss you can ask for a retest. But even if it is asda did nothing wrong.0 -
Should have gone to specsavers0

Just wondering what my options are as the lenses are blurred when look on sides0

Your options are to find out who is at fault and then take it up with them.
Original prescription wrong? Not made to the correct spec? Or none of those? The frame is in your vision and causing the problem?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Well the centre vision is fine but soon as look to sides of lenses things are blurry the Futher away they are on sides but close up little better0

That doesn't really matter. Who is wrong here? Are the lenses wrong or is the prescription wrong?
Not an easy question to answer over the internet.0 -

Is there anything special about your lenses or glasses?
I got glasses with varifocal lenses from my opticians. They give an 'odd' perspective, especially if you're not used to them.
I also had a couple of pairs of vanilla (ordinary) glasses made up. Things look the same through the lenses whether viewed from the centre or the edges.
My lenses are low power.0 -
Are they varifocals? With my varifocals only the centre of the lens givea unblurred vision - varifocal users have to learn to turn their heads a little instead of just moving their eyes. I am wondering if other lenses may be the same?I don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0

+1
Unless you have the top of the range varifocal lenses then there will be an element of blurring at the edges.0 -
Probably your best bet OP is to pay for an eye test at ASDA and be guided by the result.0
