Thanks for your reply, Redx so just ignore debt collectors letters, what do you mean about landowner cancellation and how do i go about that one, thanks

If you can find out who owns the land then they have the power to cancel it. It's not always possible to find out so don't panic if you can't.

The next thing is simply wait. Wait to see what they do next. ECP usually just send a mountain of letters before giving up.

If you get a letter saying you have 30 days to pay and contains financial information forms then ask for further advice in this thread. If any letter doesn't contain both those elements it can be disregarded.

Thanks guys, I think the car park is owned by Manchester council, as I have noticed another post online for the same place, it’s on it’s own no shopping centre attached, opposite crown court if that helps

it wouldnt surprise me, but as Waamo says you might not be able to track them down or they may not be interested, but we work on the basis of "if you dont ask , you dont get"

read these comments about landowners etc

on the assumption that you cannot get a landowner cancellation, then court is the only option for ECP , unless you chucked the towel in

POPLA adjudicators crack me up. I can't wait for them to decide on my appeal.

It is not owned by the Council. Councils don't use ECP.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ask the council who pays the business rates.

If that fails , the Land Registry will know ( it's their job to know)

Could also phone TfGM to ask who manages the car park. Looks like they own the land jointly with the council.
