Yes resigned myself to this. Just use card payments whenever possible in € and withdraw €200 or so if you need cash. Just avoid Santander!Ethical moneysaver0

I have a card on bunq - in Spain, I recently used Unicaja and Caixa Geral (which is not the same as Caixabank/La Caixa) with no fee or one (I forget which) which said that there would be a small charge, which was not passed on.0
