It's your decision as to whether you notify or not.
If you do, I would suggest completing the ESA permitted work form, and explaining that it is more an occasional recuperative hobby, than "work", which as a by-product brings in a few quid.
Going down this route is less likely to create difficultly than if a DWP telephone call handler misunderstands and gets the wrong end of the stick.

If you don't report it, when they find out via data matching etc, you could face a hefty overpayment and a potential court date.
But it's your choice, although any changes in circumstances have to be reported.0 -

The limit for permitted work on ESA is currently £131.50/week, not £20/week so the OP is currently well within the permitted amounts. The £20 figure is a disregard for Income Support claimants.
You should discuss this with your Work Coach at the jobcentre. They will give you the permitted work form to complete (very straight forward) and then you are covered. Permitted work such as this is absolutely encouraged by DWP and a valuable way to help you move forward in a constructive way.
