I fund the First Direct regular saver with a transfer to the 1st account (from an interest paying a/c elsewhere) prior to the required date.
List your accounts/types and their respective normal balances and you may be given a better way to consider. At the very minimum, which account is the one emboldened above?0 -
YorkshireBoy. Thanks for the reply but I have been provided with the info I require and consider this query resolved.Regards0

My suggestion was going to be based on "Please offer options re £1000 min payment requirement, idiot proof if possible", in that:
1. I assumed the 's' on the end of the word options meant you'd like more than one to consider, and
2. You wanted it idiot proof...and mine was going to be exactly that.
Best of luck.0 -
YorkshireBoy, I was hoping not to depend on luck if you could provide other options. The a/c I use to fund First Direct is a N/Wide loyalty saver. Regards0

Hello born again, not a helpful reply but to save you wondering any longer, I fund the First Direct regular saver with a transfer to the 1st account (from an interest paying a/c elsewhere) prior to the required date. If you need any clarification please ask in another thread as this one is regarding another a/c query.Regards
I know how you are doing it, that was obvious. It was the ZERO BALANCE statement that amused me. Hence the :rotfl: laugh.
We all need a laugh after a day in banking :beer:Life in the slow lane0 -
Born again, as a dour Presbyterian I fail to see humour where others do, even if obvious! Cheers0

You told one of the most knowledgeable people you could ever have a conversation with that the matter was resolved. why would I want to reopen that discussion.0 -
Ceredigion, then why have you posted if you do not wish to help? I am confused enough already trying to find the best solution, unfortunately I appear to be a target for ridicule. .I haven't taken any actions to fund the a/c yet and remain open to any further ideas
